From 7 months onwards, it can be helpful for your little one to have a comforter or blanket that they sleep with. While you don't need to wait until 7 months to introduce your comforter, it is recommended that babies under that age do not have any soft objects near them while sleeping. SIDS Australia has a great article about this here.

In this design, I chose a small symbol with many women gathered around. This represents mothers giving birth alongside their grandmothers and great grandmothers. In Aboriginal culture, birthing was seen as a sacred and spiritual moment shared amongst the women. The meeting places in this design represent young women learning from their mothers, grandmothers, aunties and older sisters, as they would gather food and create bush medicines for the rest of the community. "Little Sun", warm and feminine, features pink to express the loving, nurturing qualities of aboriginal women . The oranges and browns represent the earth that we stand on and the connection Aboriginal people maintain with their land.
